Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead AI/ML-powered search and discovery experiences, define product strategy and roadmaps, and partner with engineering, design, and data science teams. The role leverages customer insights and experimentation to improve product discovery.

Responsibilities include roadmapping, collaboration with UX research, analytics, and merchandising, and overseeing AB testing, backlog management, and post-launch validation.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of product management experience with progression.
• Experience leading AI/ML products such as search or recommendations.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML product development and analytics.
• Ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders, influence senior leaders, and lead through ambiguity.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the roadmap for AI/ML-powered discovery experiences in alignment with business and digital product strategy.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data Science to create customer-focused experiences at the intersection of user experience, machine learning, and AI.
• Collaborate with UX research, analytics, and merchandising to understand shopper intent and behavior.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests and use results to guide product investment decisions.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements; manage backlogs, agile ceremonies, release planning, launch plans, and post-launch validation.
