Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Program Manager for the AI Biology & Translation (AIBT) organization within CS-CoE. The role focuses on coordinating cross-functional projects, developing plans, dashboards, and communications to support transparent execution across research, biology, and operational teams.

The candidate will lead planning, tracking, and escalation, working with scientists, operations, and leadership to drive milestones and deliverables in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects, programs, or operational initiatives within biotech, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, or related environments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate activities across diverse teams.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting to evolving priorities, and driving momentum in fast-paced environments.
• Experience supporting project planning, milestone tracking, operational coordination, and executive communications using JIRA, Confluence, Asana, Airtable, Microsoft Suite, or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives across AIBT.
• Coordinate activities, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple workstreams with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, status updates, dashboards, meeting materials, and communication tools.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, operational reviews, and working sessions for collaboration and decision-making.
• Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items and communicate progress to leadership.
• Help establish effective project management practices and coordination approaches across the organization.
