Job summary

Engine is the AI-native platform for intelligent travel, powering internal tooling across business units and accelerating how teams work.

You will join the Applied AI team as an embedded Product Manager, shadowing workflows, mapping steps, and shipping automation that handles hundreds of thousands of support cases with AI and agents.

Success means first workflows mapped, baselined metrics signed off, a live version with users, and a growing embed playbook for future PMs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product management, ideally on internal tools, operations or workflow products, with at least one AI or automation product in production.
• Mapped a messy business process, found steps that cost time and removed them.
• Able to baseline a cycle time, define a sign-off metric, and consider costs including model spend and engineering time.

Responsibilities

• Shadow the work, map each step, handoff and wait to understand where time goes.
• Pick a workload at a time, starting with high-volume, repetitive steps; decide what goes next and say no to the rest.
• Get sign-off on a cycle time or unit metric before building; measure the baseline.
• Build and ship automation with engineering to replace manual work at scale, using AI tools and agents.
• Scope and roll out: define the first version, target users, and how it reaches the function.
• Hand off: define what it looks like for the function to run the workload without you with a named owner.
• Make the kill call: if metric doesn't move, propose a fix or a stop with a deadline.
