Daksta is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead data centre construction initiatives in Atlanta. You will drive multi-disciplinary efforts, ensure schedule adherence, and manage budgets to deliver complex facilities on time and within scope.

Ideal candidates bring extensive PM experience in heavy infra or data centre environments, strong leadership, and excellence in communication with clients and teams. This role is onsite in Georgia.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field required.
  • Master's degree is a plus and certification adds value.
  • Proven PM experience in data centre or large-scale infra projects.

This role is pivotal in overseeing the successful delivery of complex data centre projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for data centre construction projects, from initial planning to final handover.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee contractor and vendor performance, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing effective solutions to address challenges as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, maintaining clear and transparent communication.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on data centre construction or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management tools, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Day-to-Day
  • Oversee daily project activities, ensuring alignment with the overall project plan and objectives.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Facilitate team meetings to review project milestones, address challenges, and align on next steps.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
