Job summary

Daksta is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data centre project team in Missouri. The role focuses on assisting planning, coordination, and execution of construction and infrastructure initiatives to ensure projects finish on time, within scope, and with high quality.

You will support the Project Manager by tracking timelines, budgets, and resources, preparing status reports, and coordinating with contractors and internal teams for seamless delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in construction management, engineering, or related field is required.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in data centre or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of PM principles, tools, and methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
  • Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of data centre construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Support the Project Manager in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders.

  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and adherence to plans.
  • Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation, including reports and meeting notes.
  • Support the team in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
