Job summary

Canterbury Park Entertainment LLC in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Senior Plumbing Technician for on-site maintenance at our entertainment complex. The role covers plumbing installation, winterization, and spring startup across multiple buildings and an RV park, with a focus on reliable, high-quality service.

Responsibilities include seasonal maintenance, assisting HVAC systems, and budgeting/purchasing support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 2-year technical college in pipe fitting, plumbing, HVAC or 2+ years’ plumbing experience.
• Minnesota Plumbers License at a Journeyman level.
• Minnesota Racing Commission (MRC) license.
• Must pass Canterbury Park pre-employment screening including background check, drug screening and Safe Driving Policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in a hospitality-focused environment.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism.
• Assist with purchasing and budgeting for plumbing supplies.
• Fall/winterization of up to 50 buildings and one 16-unit RV Park.
• Spring startup of buildings and RV Park.
• Test chemicals in chilled water and boiler water and assist HVAC maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
