Job summary

Six Flags New England is hiring a licensed plumber to maintain and install plumbing in park-owned properties and to handle piping, drainage, venting, fixtures, leaks, backups, and clogs.

Responsibilities include winterization and startup of plumbing, reading blueprints, HVAC maintenance, refrigeration PM, fire protection pump tests, sewer ejector systems, repairing gas or propane leaks, and coordinating with outside contractors.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts plumber's license is required.
• 18 years old or older with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must read, speak, write and understand English
• Physical ability to perform duties such as walking long distances, standing for long periods and lifting

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and installing plumbing in park-owned properties
• Maintaining and installing piping, drainage, venting, fixtures, leaks, backups, clogs
• Winterization and startup of plumbing in buildings
• Interpreting blueprints and building specifications for pipes and drainage systems
• HVAC maintenance including filter changes, coil cleaning and belt changes
• Refrigeration PM and coordinating outside contractor work
• Monitor and test fire protection pumps and annual testing
• Monitor sewer ejector systems
• Repair gas or propane leaks
• Schedule hours for plumbing shop
• Repair air lines on rides and install new systems
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
