Job summary

A/C & Plumbing Doctors in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to lead a growing team. This is a working leadership role — you will supervise plumbers while running residential service calls, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction across the board.

You will mentor staff, plan tasks, interpret blueprints, manage workloads, and oversee installations, repairs, and maintenance to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven plumbing supervisor or leadership experience.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems and trades.
• Ability to read, interpret, utilize, and train on manuals, schematics, and control circuits.
• Technical aptitude with knowledge of local codes and a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of plumbers and plumbing apprentices.
• Plan, assign, and review plumbing tasks and projects.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.
• Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and equipment.
• Actively run plumbing service calls to assist customers, generate revenue, and model best practices in the field.
• Ensure projects and service calls are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and codes to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections of plumbing work to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
• Address and resolve plumbing-related issues or emergencies promptly.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Provide estimates and quotes for plumbing services.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Manage inventory of plumbing supplies and equipment.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Order materials as needed and ensure timely delivery to job sites.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control for plumbing projects.
• Participate in meetings and provide updates on project status and team performance.
