Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Plumbing Project Manager to oversee planning and delivery of our commercial plumbing operations, including water, sanitary, gas, hydronic piping, and fixture installations. You will coordinate subs, vendors, and internal teams to ensure constructibility and on-schedule execution.

The role emphasizes review of drawings, coordination with CAD/BIM, and guiding subcontractors while maintaining budget and schedule performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience on commercial plumbing projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and installation practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction project management software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a positive relationship with internal project teams, customers, subcontractors, and key vendors.
• Coordinate with pre-construction, sales, safety, estimating, purchasing, CAD/BIM, fabrication shops, and client personnel to develop and maintain a detailed plumbing construction plan and schedule.
• Scope out vendor quotes, purchase equipment/material, scope out subcontractors and issue subcontracts for plumbing trades.
• Monitor daily field progress and mentor site leadership to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery with quality and safety.
• Prepare, manage, and report on project budgets; communicate financial and schedule performance to senior leadership.
• Oversee change orders, RFIs, submittals, and budgeting revisions; drive safety plans and on-site QC.
