Job summary

Bassett Mechanical is seeking a Project Sales Engineer to identify, design, estimate, and secure plumbing opportunities while ensuring profitability targets are met. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and field teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities include BIM-based design, proposals, vendor quoting, and cost control for diverse facilities, with emphasis on codes and standards compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in mechanical engineering; PE or Master Plumber license preferred.
• Minimum five years in the plumbing industry with design experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and CRM skills; proficient in BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries to assess plumbing and piping needs and propose approaches.
• Plan and schedule appointments; manage CRM data and project details.
• Design plumbing systems for diverse facilities; coordinate CAD/Revit drawings.
• Prepare construction drawings and review plans; assist with cost estimates.
• Develop proposals with scope, assumptions, and costs; secure commitments.
• Collaborate with PM, VDC, and field teams for cost-effective install strategies.
• Promote BIM coordination, prefabrication, and advanced design tools.
