Job summary

SHP is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the full plumbing design process for new construction and renovations in Greensboro, NC. You will set technical direction, coordinate multidisciplinary efforts, and mentor staff, serving as the primary engineering liaison to clients and project partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 8-10+ years of A/E consulting experience.
• PE licensure required.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Expert-level proficiency in plumbing system design and Revit workflows.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Proven ability to manage people, processes, and deadlines.
• Collaborative multidisciplinary coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee full plumbing engineering design on multiple projects.

• Supervise and mentor engineering staff; support development of team capabilities.

As a Senior Engineer at SHP, you will lead the full engineering design process for both new construction and renovation projects. You will set technical direction, manage multidisciplinary coordination, oversee staff, and serve as the primary engineering liaison to clients and project partners.

You'll apply deep technical expertise to create efficient, reliable plumbing systems and help shape firmwide engineering standards while mentoring the next generation of talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee full plumbing engineering design on multiple projects
