Job summary

Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. in Milwaukee seeks a licensed mechanical engineer (PE) with at least five years of plumbing and fire protection design experience to lead project work.

Responsibilities include planning, designing and engineering systems, producing construction documents in Revit, maintaining client relationships, performing calculations and energy analyses, and participating in construction administration; you will report to the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications

• Licensed/registered mechanical engineer (PE) with 5 years of plumbing and fire protection design experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Revit experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with clients, staff and field personnel; teamwork.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and engineer plumbing and fire protection systems for facilities projects.
• Produce construction documents using Revit.
• Maintain client relationships with project stakeholders.
• Perform plumbing calculations, energy analysis and sustainable design.
• Assist with construction administration and site activities.
• Report to the Director of Engineering.
