Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Engineer to lead multi-site design and construction projects. You will apply advanced plumbing, fire protection, and water systems knowledge to design, inspect, and optimize facilities while ensuring safety, compliance, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant post-education experience.
• Engineer license required.
• Proficient with plumbing and mechanical design principles.
• Experience with building and infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
• Knowledge of codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead junior team and coordinate with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Guide data collection from site, surveys, blueprints, schematics, and reports for project development.
• Develop and approve installation plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Oversee cross-functional teams and manage budgets, hours, and schedules.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations explaining research and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with codes, ordinances, and regulations.
• Interact with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients.
