Job summary

WSP is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Plumbing Engineer in San Francisco, CA to lead plumbing system design on large, complex building projects across multiple sectors.

The role requires mentoring staff, managing project delivery, and contributing to business development within the Property & Buildings practice. Opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams across California and the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related engineering discipline is required.
• 10+ years of post-education experience in plumbing engineering and building systems design.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing budgets/schedules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for plumbing system design on large, complex building projects.
• Lead the planning, design, and specification of plumbing systems and piping.
• Oversee project delivery including technical quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Develop construction docs, calculations, reports, specs, and studies.
