Job summary

HGA in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Plumbing Engineer & Supervisor to lead design, coordination and documentation of plumbing systems for diverse building projects, while mentoring a team of plumbing designers. This role blends technical leadership with people management to deliver code-compliant, innovative solutions.

You will collaborate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, perform calculations, specify equipment, and develop BIM/documentation using Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 15+ years of consulting engineering experience with emphasis on plumbing design.
• PE license or similar certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and standards.
• Proficiency in Revit, BIM, and Office software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, coordination, and documentation of plumbing systems for projects.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to plumbing designers.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform calculations, select equipment, and develop piping layouts.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and workshops.
• Research options and present findings to project teams.
• Ensure code-compliant and innovative plumbing solutions.
