Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Plumbing Designer to join our multi-office team in Cincinnati, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Conshohocken, PA; and Cary, NC. You’ll develop plumbing designs for advanced facilities and coordinate with engineers and construction teams to deliver construction-ready solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in plumbing design, strong Revit skills, and knowledge of codes, vents, and building systems. Hybrid work with two days in-office per week.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent years of experience.
• 10+ years of practical plumbing design experience including waste/vent, domestic water, and storm water.
• Ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams with clients and construction.
• At least 10 years of Revit design experience.
• Industrial design experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor facilities, or similar.
• General working knowledge of plumbing codes and building systems coordination.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform plumbing design assignments with general guidance on complex problems.
• Create plumbing designs for construction and coordinate with other design/engineering professionals.
• Visit project sites to gather existing plumbing conditions and support construction.
• Coordinate work activities with project management and teams.
