Job summary

Jacobs in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Senior Plumbing Designer to develop comprehensive plumbing designs for advanced facilities, including waste and vent, domestic water, and stormwater systems, in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will coordinate with design and construction professionals, perform site assessments, and translate project requirements into build-ready drawings using Revit, ensuring code compliance and clash-free coordination across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related technical discipline; or equivalent years of experience
• 10+ years of practical application experience of plumbing design, including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with the client, and construction team
• At least 10 years of Revit design experience
• Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor facilities, or similar
• General working knowledge of plumbing codes
• An understanding of clash detection, clash resolution and building system coordination
• Passion for buildings and construction

We're seeking a Senior Plumbing Designer in our Cincinnati, Ohio, Indianapolis, IN, Conshohocken, PA and Cary, NC offices who is excited about working on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Here’s what you’ll need

• 10+ years of practical application experience of plumbing design, including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with the client, and construction team
• At least 10 years of Revit design experience
• Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor facilities, or similar
• General working knowledge of plumbing codes

• Passion for buildings and construction

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar

Location

• This role is staffed out of our Cincinnati OH, Indianapolis IN, Conshohocken PA and/or our Cary NC offices as a hybrid position with majority of time worked remote, and approximately 2 days per week in the office on average as needed for projects.

The base salary range for this position is $80,600.00 to $138,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
