Job summary

Henderson Engineers, Inc. is seeking a mid-to-senior Plumbing Designer to contribute expertise across six market sectors, coordinating with Henderson Building Solutions to deliver exceptional client experiences. The role involves design, coordination, and collaboration with project teams on new and existing facilities.

Applicants should have a relevant engineering degree and several years of experience, with strong Revit and Bluebeam proficiency and a PE license being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3 years of experience, or 6 years without degree.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license may count toward 1 year of direct experience.
• Experience level III requires 6 years with or without a degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and designs engineering systems with a high degree of independence.
• Prepares electrical system layouts, drawings, and schematics.
• Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specs.
• Assists with business development and client relationships.
• Supports project coordination including emails, scope, schedule, and client meetings.
• Acts as a training resource for others in the team.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical/electrical/fire protection/architectural)

PE license (preferred)
