Job summary

Meade is seeking a Plumbing Designer III to play a key role in the design of plumbing systems for data centers, industrial buildings, and other large-scale construction projects. This position is a blend of design execution, project coordination, and production, ensuring plumbing systems are efficiently developed and integrated into broader mechanical designs.

The ideal candidate has strong Revit expertise, understands plumbing codes and best practices, and is capable of managing design

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in plumbing design for commercial or industrial projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Revit for plumbing design and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, industry standards, and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for team collaboration and client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plumbing system layouts for domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, and gas piping.
• Use Revit to produce detailed plumbing construction documents with coordination with other disciplines.
• Manage design schedules, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Select plumbing equipment and fixtures per project specs and standards.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders, and assist with site visits and inspections.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers for integration.
• Provide technical guidance to drafters and junior staff.
