Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support MEP design across HVAC and plumbing projects. The role involves working on design, calculations, and compliance with building codes.

Responsibilities include following Title 24 and OSHPD, collaborating with design engineers, and daily use of AutoCAD and Revit for project work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; EIT or PE license preferred.
• 1–4+ years of experience with an MEP design firm or plumbing design-build company.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and related design software.

Responsibilities

• Follow Title 24 and OSHPD requirements on projects.
• Design, engineer, and perform calculations for plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with design engineers and divisions within the company.
• Work daily in AutoCAD and Revit for design and calculations.

Job description

We are a large growing mechanical contractor that works on many large mechanical hvac and plumbing projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits, retirement package, and plenty of room for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Follow Title 24 and OSHPD requirements on projects
• Work on our upcoming and pre-existing Plumbing projects
• Work closely with other design-engineers and other divisions within the company.
• Work in AutoCAD and Revit daily doing design, engineering, and calculations on commercial plumbing projects.

Requirements

• Local
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, EIT or PE license preferred.
• 1 - 4+ years of experience working for an MEP Design Engineering Firm or with a Plumbing Design Build Construction Company.
• Strong software knowledge in: AutoCAD, Revit, BlueBeam, EnergyPro among others are a plus.
• Knowledge in: State Building Codes, Title 24, and OSHPD.
