Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a skilled pipefitter/plumber for our Omaha, NE facility. The role covers assembly, installation, modification, and repair of plumbing systems, with a focus on preventive and corrective maintenance.

Candidates should have 6+ years of relevant experience and a high school diploma; a Nebraska Grade 6 Water Operation License is preferred, with backflow certification highly desirable. The position requires lifting and working at heights, with a strong emphasis on safety, and

Qualifications

• 6+ years relevant experience and a High School diploma or GED.
• Certified/licensed in pipefitting and have a valid Nebraska Grade 6 Water Operation License preferred.
• Backflow Certified, highly preferable, or eligible and willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, modify, and repair all pipes and plumbing systems.
• Maintain and upgrade plumbing equipment and piping.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on plumbing-related equipment.
• Report to the Shift Operating Engineer.
• Possess ability to install and repair water heaters, drinking fountains, toilets, sinks, and related plumbing equipment throughout the facility.
