Job summary
Actalent is seeking a Senior Project Surveyor (PLS) in California to lead surveying and mapping projects from planning through delivery. The position is primarily office-based with limited field work and offers mentorship to junior staff and ongoing client coordination.

- Active California PLS license is required.
- Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.
- 7+ years of land surveying experience.
- Experience with boundary surveys, topographic mapping, and legal descriptions.
Responsibilities
- Lead surveying and mapping projects from planning through delivery.
- Review and process field-collected survey data.
- Prepare and oversee boundary surveys and ALTA surveys.
- Perform topographic surveys and mapping.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior survey staff.
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Support proposal development and fee estimates.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
