Qualifications

• Current Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Alabama or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• We use Carlson Software and field equipment.
• Strong proficiency in Land Surveying across commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience conducting Topographic Surveys and Building Surveying for design, planning, and compliance purposes.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot Total Station and related surveying instruments and equipment.
• Working knowledge of surveying software, CAD tools, and relevant state and local regulations.
• Effective communication skills and ability to lead and mentor field staff safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee survey work from the field crew through final deliverables.
• Review and oversee field data, calculations, plats and survey deliverables.
• Manage projects and work effectively with field crews, contractors, engineers, developers and property owners.
• Lead and mentor field staff safely and efficiently.
