Job summary

Ford is seeking an experienced PLM Engineering Manager to lead 3DEXPERIENCE customization, development, and escalation support. This hands-on leader will guide a team of 3DX developers, platform engineers, and release engineers while coordinating with hosting and Dassault Systèmes teams.

The role requires deep knowledge of 3DX architecture, strong technical leadership, and collaboration across engineering, hosting, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA / 3DEXPERIENCE, including platform customization, development, and administration
• 5+ years in software development and scripting with 3DX customizations including EKL, JPO, JAR, YAML, & supporting automation/pipelines.
• 3+ years in escalation & production support for enterprise PLM systems
• 3+ years leading or managing technical teams in an enterprise environment
• Vendor escalation experience with Dassault Systèmes or similar
• Experience in fast-paced industrial systems team like Ford

Responsibilities

• Lead 3DX customization design, development, and delivery including data model extensions, triggers, MQL/TCL scripts, EKL logic
• Guide UI & widget development for 3DDashboard, web forms, tables, commands, menus
• Own technical design and support of 3DX integrations with Ford systems via REST APIs
• Oversee P&O security configurations and access rules
• Define and enforce coding standards and source control for 3DX dev
• Turn business requirements into sound technical designs and advise on out-of-the-box vs customize
• Serve as final escalation point for P1/P2 incidents across 3DX suite
• Lead root cause analysis with logs, JVM dumps, SQL analysis
• Own vendor escalation with Dassault Systèmes, drive service requests
• Lead incident bridges and coordinate rapid response across teams
• Own root cause reports and corrective actions
• Drive shift-left with knowledge articles and runbooks
• Performance tuning, upgrade readiness, change management
• Automation adoption for deployments and CI/CD pipelines
• Lead capacity planning and resource management
• Knowledge transfer through training and code reviews
• Support IT audits and compliance
