Job summary

Siemens is seeking a PLM Digital Thread Lead to define and drive the end-to-end digital thread strategy for AI Factory and data center programs, connecting design through operations and service to deliver measurable value for Siemens and clients.

You will orchestrate engineering, business stakeholders, and client teams across Teamcenter and PLM portfolios, establish governance, and enable reusable reference designs and scalable workflows that accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Construction/Industrial Management, or related field – or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in PLM/digital thread, technical program leadership, or technical account/delivery management.
• Working familiarity with PLM platforms and concepts (Teamcenter or equivalent).
• Understanding of engineering workflows and product lifecycle processes.
• Ability to work across global teams and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Owning the digital thread strategy for AI Factory and data center programs across design, build, commission, operate, and service phases.
• Translating digital thread concepts into client-ready value addressing risk, cost, and lifecycle outcomes.
• Orchestrating across multiple business units and engineering disciplines to connect data into a cohesive digital twin.
• Establishing Teamcenter and PLM as the system of record for configuration, requirements, and traceability.
• Aligning PLM workflows with AI Factory disciplines including power, cooling, and automation.
• Defining reference processes for requirements management, system architecture, and change impact analysis.
• Enabling reuse of reference designs, templates, and validated configurations across teams and client programs.
• Partnering with product and engineering to identify capability gaps (PLM, simulation, data management).
• Supporting integration across Siemens digital portfolio tools and partner systems.
• Defining data governance, access control, versioning, and handover requirements.
