The Pivot Group Network in West Michigan is partnering with Wayland-area manufacturers to identify skilled PLC Programmers. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing PLC programs for automated production lines, with emphasis on reliability and safety.

We’re connecting with engineers who have hands-on experience with Rockwell or Siemens platforms, Ladder Logic, and HMI/SCADA systems to support ongoing operations in Wayland, MI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram programming languages.
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and troubleshoot HMI/SCADA systems.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and automation principles.

Responsabilités

• Designs, develops, and tests PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoots and debugs existing PLC programs and related control systems.
• Modifies and optimizes PLC programs to improve efficiency, productivity, and safety.
• Collaborates with engineers and production staff to define system requirements and specifications.
• Develops and maintains detailed documentation for PLC programs and control systems.
• Configures and integrates HMIs, SCADA systems, and other industrial control devices.
• Provides technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.
