Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking a Maintenance Technician IV to perform complex mechanical duties and electrical trade tasks in a manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot PLCs, install and maintain electronic controllers, and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in industrial maintenance, 2 years electrical experience, and PLC training; an associate degree in industrial electronics is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of electrical code; journeyman license preferred.
• Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
• 4+ years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years electrical experience; formal PLC training preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
• Design and redesign PLC programs and operator panels.
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for generation and distribution of electrical energy.
• Read blueprints; diagnose electrical system faults.
• Lead projects and implement process improvements.
• Keep work area safe, clean and organized.
