Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to support production at our Georgia facility. You will troubleshoot PLCs, design and modify PLC programs, and manage computer setups while maintaining electrical energy systems in a manufacturing setting.

Requires 4+ years industrial maintenance and 2+ years electrical experience, with PLC training and strong blueprint reading abilities. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and room for advancement in Mohawk Industries family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
• 4 or more years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years industrial electrical experience.
• Formal PLC training preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
• Design and redesign PLC programs and software (PLCs, operator panels).
• Format hard drives and install computers (Computer Setup).
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for generation, distribution or utilization of electrical energy.
• Locate and diagnose electrical faults from blueprints and specs.
• Work with load calculations for wiring and equipment.
• Knowledge of Serial port communication systems, VFDs and process instrumentation.
• Lead projects and drive process improvements and cost reductions.
• Ensure safe, clean, organized work area.
