  • Configure, test, and validate PLC processor redundancy systems (e.g., ControlLogix, Siemens S7).
  • Mentor and train PLC Field Technicians, providing technical guidance and reviewing their work.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex field issues and system failures.
  • Ensure technical consistency, quality, and adherence to standards across field teams.
  • Integrate PLC systems with SCADA/HMI platforms such as Ignition and FactoryTalk.
  • Configure and validate industrial communication protocols including Modbus/IP, Modbus/UDP, Ethernet/IP, BACnet, MQTT, and OPC UA.
  • Produce high-quality redlines, as-built documentation, and commissioning reports.
  • Coordinate with Lead PLC Technicians, PLC Engineers, and project managers to ensure alignment on technical deliverables.
Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel to project sites (95%).
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout job sites for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and lifts as required.
