Job summary

Cook Children’s Health Care System is seeking a Senior Platform Systems Engineer to provide senior engineer level technical and group support within the Platform Systems Engineer family, developing proficiency across Citrix, Microsoft, VMware, Nutanix and Ivanti, plus Windows server and desktop engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of direct IT experience, or an Associate’s degree and 6 years of direct IT experience or 8 years of direct IT experience and high school diploma or equivalent.
• BA/BS degree in IS or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain, install, and deploy technologies including systems, networks, data architectures, capacity planning, performance management, security, configuration management, and disaster recovery.
• Contribute to standard architectures and to hardware and software components used in data center, cloud and user environments.
