Job summary

ECLARO is recruiting a Senior Platform Systems Engineer in San Diego to architect and evolve AI and database infrastructure platforms for enterprise and hyperscale environments.

You will own end-to-end platform design across compute, storage, networking, power, and thermal domains, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, manufacturable solutions with strong engineering judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong Linux knowledge and command-line proficiency.
• Experience with platform debugging and performance analysis tools such as fio, iostat, perf, sar, iperf, or sysbench.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level design, integration, and validation of compute, storage, networking, power, and thermal infrastructure features.
• Define and validate platform-level power architecture, redundancy strategies, and thermal requirements.
• Collaborate with product, hardware, firmware, manufacturing, and systems teams to prototype and productionize capabilities.
• Lead root-cause analysis spanning hardware, firmware, OS, networking, storage, power, and thermal domains.
• Drive manufacturability and factory readiness, including production validation and deployment standards.
• Develop validation, characterization, and automation tools using Bash, Python, or C-based utilities.
• Influence platform architecture through technical insight and emerging infrastructure technologies.
