Job summary

ECLARO is seeking a Principal AI Platform Engineer in San Diego, CA to lead end-to-end AI platform design, build, and governance. This senior individual contributor will coordinate with cloud, M365, security, and application teams to execute platform workstreams and scale the AI practice.

The role focuses on integrating Bedrock and Copilot with enterprise data sources, defining standards, and guiding governance while growing the function into a potential team over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred, equivalent work experience considered.
• 7–10 years in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or infra operations with senior ownership.
• Hands-on with AWS Bedrock and enterprise Copilot deployment in production.
• Experience deploying Copilot enterprise and integrating enterprise data sources.
• Proven solo/platform owner with matrixed team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On engineering: build and operate Bedrock infra and Copilot integration.
• Platform architecture: maintain enterprise AI reference architecture and standards.
• Governance & risk: implement AI policy, ARB processes, and security controls.
• Enablement: lead AI Community of Practice and drive adoption of Copilot across units.
• Vendor management: oversee Microsoft and AWS relationships and roadmap impacts.
