Job summary

Vivid is seeking a Senior System Analyst to join our Platform team. You will own 2–3 domains across core banking, payments, and transfers, taking them end-to-end from solution design to production support.

You will work with cross-functional teams to design APIs, data models, and integration flows, ensuring scalability. You will lead integrations with external partners and translate business requirements into actionable technical plans.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as System Analyst or similar role.
• Financial services background in banking/payments/fintech is a strong advantage.
• Confident SQL skills to pull data and investigate incidents.
• Experience with AI coding assistants to accelerate development.
• Solid understanding of microservices, REST/gRPC, relational DBs, and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis for complex integration-heavy initiatives across core banking and payments.
• Design technical solutions with APIs, data models, and integration flows for scalability.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, system docs, and integration contracts.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Compliance, and partners to translate requirements into plans.
• Investigate and resolve production issues with cross-team coordination.
• Participate in full product lifecycle from discovery to post-launch support.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and reduce manual work.
