Job summary

Voiceflow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the engineering behind a payments platform handling billions in throughput. You will consolidate legacy integrations, own orchestration and reconciliation with banking, Stripe, SAP, and payroll, and collaborate with customers to surface edge cases.

You’ll work with a small, dedicated team, ship new capabilities, and design for correctness as money movement remains mission-critical.

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with a strong payments background and real experience building payment systems and integrations (fintech a plus).
• Attention to detail; strong finance background is a plus.
• Bias toward action and customer-facing development.

Responsibilities

• Build and refactor a payments system assembled from many legacy integrations.
• Maintain integrations across banking, debit cards, Stripe, SAP, payroll, and our billing platform.
• Own the orchestration and reconciliation layer across third-party fintech partners.
• Design for correctness in money movement and reliability.
• Work directly with customers to understand real-world failure modes and edge cases.
• Partner with product to build, ship, measure, and iterate.
