Job summary

Fin is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help define how money moves on Fin. You will design and ship core product experiences, integrate with payment partners, and build systems that handle millions of transactions with reliability.

This autonomous role requires owning projects end to end, from spec to deployment, and delivering simple user experiences atop complex systems. We value practical system design and architectural discussions over rote tasks.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with React Native; Expo experience a plus.
• Ownership of complex product changes from idea to launch.
• Strong debugging across stack: database, infra, frontend performance.
• Knowledge of security best practices for auth and data handling.
• Commitment to code quality, testing, readability, and maintainability.
• Clear written and verbal communication with non-engineering partners.
• Comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage startup.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features across web and mobile.
• Own projects end to end: scope requirements, design systems, implement, test, deploy.
• Integrate third-party payment and financial APIs and identity providers.
• Build scalable services with reliability and observability for real money movement.
• Maintain high code quality through abstractions, tests, and reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations to deliver simple user experiences.
