Job summary

Aristocrat in the United States seeks a Level 4 CS Development support engineer to resolve customer software issues during upgrades and general problems. You will work with Architects and Product Management to propose robust solutions, while collaborating with Customer Success and development teams.

Required are strong networking, Unix/Linux, scripting, and SQL skills; experience with Git, Jenkins, and Kubernetes; willingness to travel up to 25% for customer sites and ability to obtain a license

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with 8+ years IT experience.
• Proven Experience in Technical Support or equivalent: 5+ years.
• Strong proficiency in Networking, multicast, TCP/IP communications.
• Strong skills in working with Unix/Linux OS.
• Comfortable with scripting with PowerShell and Ansible.
• Experience in database programming using SQL with SQL Server or MySQL is helpful.
• Hands on experience of GIT and tools like Jenkins and Kubernetes.
• Experience of using AI tools and knowledge of agentic AI is a plus.
• Must be able to be licensed in multiple jurisdictions.
• Must be available for after-hours support and travel as needed to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Customer Success to resolve software issues during product upgrades or when issues are raised.
• Work with Architect and Product Management groups to ensure alignment on the suggested solution.
• Work with developers, support personnel, and installation teams on software-related concerns reported by customers.
• Build relevant documents that support development and provide insight of work done to other team members.
• Perform after-hours support and travel to customer sites as needed.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
