Job summary

Unity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build platform support for bringing games to TV and mobile form factors. You will work on performance-critical, cross-platform code and collaborate with R&D teams worldwide to optimize WebGPU/WebAssembly and memory management in a browser-hosted Unity runtime.

You’ll design Editor workflows, profile large multithreaded codebases, and help ensure a stable platform through testing and reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong modern C# proficiency for clean, testable code.
• Strong C++ and JavaScript skills in a large codebase.
• Understanding cross-language/platform design and memory management.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features and workflows in the Unity Editor for platform configurations.
• Profile and optimize WebGPU/WebAssembly performance, focusing on load times and memory usage.
• Investigate and resolve bugs to maintain a stable platform.
• Contribute to automated testing and code reviews to ensure quality and delivery.
