Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a senior software engineer to join our Hardware Infrastructure team. You will design, build, and test scalable frontend and backend services used by engineers across the company to accelerate data processing and AI workflows.

You will mentor teammates, gather requirements from chip designers and infrastructure teams, ensure reliability, and help shape the software development lifecycle as we scale AI tools and platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering reliable and scalable web services
• Bachelor's degree CS or equivalent
• Expert knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js
• At least one of Go, Java, C++, or Rust
• Experience with distributed web services and modular design
• Eagerness to experiment with AI tools and scale AI safely
• Excellent planning, presentation, and communication skills
• Deep understanding of concurrency and multi-threading
• Familiarity with Linux fundamentals (systemd administration)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases

Responsibilities

• Design, build and test performant frontend web applications and scalable backend web services with coherent interfaces
• Gather requirements and provide consultation to internal customers to understand processes and use-cases
• Maintain services and tools emphasizing reliability and deployment throughput
• Mentor colleagues to solve difficult technical problems and perform code reviews
• Influence guidelines around adopting AI-enabled development processes
