Job summary

Fastly is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Security team, focusing on Trust and Identity infrastructure at scale. You will drive internal authentication, identity, and access control systems, guiding architecture and resilience across services.

You will work with Product, Security, Compliance and other Engineering teams to shape internal trust architecture and delivery plans, while promoting technical standards and operational maturity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical IC experience in security or identity infra.
• Experience with trust and identity infrastructure and cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term vision for trust and identity infrastructure and translate into execution plans.
• Design scalable internal trust solutions such as secrets management, PKI, and authentication services.
• Own complex initiatives with cross-functional impact across organization.
• Promote engineering excellence with standards for code quality, reliability, and operations.
