Job summary

BeyondTrust is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and maintain scalable cloud-based services within the Platform Core Services team. You will work on authentication, authorization, onboarding, RBAC, and platform APIs to support multiple product lines.

The role emphasizes reliability, observability, and automation using Datadog, Terraform, Terragrunt, and CI/CD tools, with collaboration across product managers and engineering teams to deliver a high-performance identity security

Qualifications

• Enterprise-ready cloud systems with focus on performance, security, and scalability.
• Experience with API services, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP/Azure and cloud-native design.
• IaC and CI/CD tooling (Terraform, Terragrunt, GitHub Actions).
• Observability with Datadog/Prometheus and strong logging/tracing practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable core platform services for multiple product lines.
• Enhance reliability and observability with monitoring and alerting systems.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate across product teams.
• Drive reliability improvements and reduce technical debt through automation.
