Level is seeking a Senior Technical Producer to partner with our platform engineering team across DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure, data pipelines, and backend services that power our Learning platform. You will help transform internal requests into a strategic roadmap, deciding what starts now, what is deferred, and what is cut, while maintaining credibility in architecture and tradeoffs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years producing or program-managing platform, DevOps, build and release, infrastructure, data, or backend and online engineering teams.
• Strong engineering credibility: background as software, SRE, production, or data engineer preferred.
• Experience introducing developer productivity tooling, including AI-assisted development.
• Owned a platform roadmap or portfolio with engineering leaders.
• Experience running an intake or prioritization process for internal customers and explaining sequencing/deferral/cuts.
• Technical fluency across CI/CD, build systems, test automation, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), observability, data pipelines, and online services.
• Track record of shipping platform programs and driving adoption.
• Ability to connect platform work to product/business priorities and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• Experience at a games or live-service studio, or high-growth tech company (edtech, SaaS, mobile) with fast release cadence.
• Comfort structuring ambiguous work and building process from the ground up.

Responsabilités

• Run Platform Intake: Own the front door for platform engineering, size effort and risk with engineers.
• Own the Platform Roadmap: Build and maintain the roadmap with platform engineering leaders across DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, infrastructure, data pipelines, and backend services.
• Decide What Starts, Waits, or Gets Cut: Make calls with engineering leaders and communicate decisions and rationale clearly.
• Be a Technical Partner to Engineers: Review architecture proposals, migrations, and build-vs-buy decisions, challenge assumptions, surface risks.
• Drive Platform Programs to Adoption: Lead CI/CD/build migrations, environment/infrastructure changes, observability, and data pipeline work through rollout.
• Connect Platform to Level: Translate platform work to product/game/business priorities and align the whole org.
• Balance Features, Debt, and Reliability: Weigh new capability against technical debt and infrastructure health, explain tradeoffs to engineers and leadership.
• Build the Operating Model: Design intake/planning/release/incident follow-through processes for a growing team.
• Measure What Matters: Define platform success measures and use them to inform prioritization and show value.
• Raise the Bar for Production: Mentor producers on production practices and influence planning across projects.
