Job summary

Kaleido is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Platform Infrastructure) to design and operate cloud-native infrastructure powering our multi-cloud SaaS platform.

You will expand Kubernetes clusters across providers, develop core microservices and operators, automate CI workflows, and build tests, metrics, and alerts to keep systems healthy at scale.

Collaborative, on-call, and security-conscious, you will also explore AI-powered tooling to further automate development and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with cloud architecture on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and Linux in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with continuous testing and cloud-native monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand global Kubernetes clusters across cloud providers.
• Develop core microservices and Kubernetes operators to secure, manage, and scale workloads.
• Integrate cloud networking and storage features for large-scale networks and data indexing.
• Improve CI workflows and CLI tools for reliable software delivery.
• Build test suites, metrics, and alerts to keep systems healthy and customers satisfied.
• Continuously improve architecture for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Prototype agentic AI systems to automate development and operations.
