Job summary

Navanta is seeking a Lead Platform & Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and operate the Navanta platform inside bank environments or dedicated single‑tenant deployments. You will lead architecture, IaC, and CI/CD while coordinating with security, data, and AI/ML teams.

You will stand up Docker and Kubernetes environments, manage secrets and observability, and partner on encryption, isolation, and hardening in regulated settings.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years building and operating production infrastructure.
• Experience shipping software in customer‑managed or on‑prem environments.
• Deep, hands‑on Docker and Kubernetes in production; Linux & networking fundamentals.
• IaC and configuration management discipline; reproducible images.
• Proven track record of reliable, secure, automated infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and own Infrastructure‑as‑Code baseline for dedicated deployments.
• Stand up and operate Docker/Kubernetes, ingress, load balancing, and CI/CD pipeline.
• Build and maintain secrets, certificates, and observability stack.
• Define promotion, release automation, and rollback procedures.
• Partner with Security on encryption, isolation, and hardening per regulatory guidance.
• Right‑size GPU and inference infrastructure as AI workloads grow.
• Establish on‑call, SLOs, and capacity planning ahead of beta scale‑up.
• Document deployment architecture and procedures for audits.
