Job summary
Vantor is seeking a Senior Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and operate mission-critical software platforms across AWS and customer on-premise environments. The role blends hands-on infrastructure engineering with automation, platform architecture, and operational support for commercial and defense customers.
The ideal candidate combines architectural credibility with hands-on execution to scale cloud and on-prem deployments while reducing chaos and improving delivery
Qualifications
- 7+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure or SRE roles.
- Experience deploying production workloads in AWS.
- Experience with Linux and containerized applications.
- Experience with Terraform, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain AWS-based production infrastructure.
- Build and maintain deployment automation for cloud and on-prem environments.
- Develop IaC standards for AWS and customer environments.
- Collaborate with software teams to improve deployment reliability.
- Support release engineering and operations.
- Troubleshoot complex infra and network issues.
- Implement security best practices across environments.
- Participate in architecture reviews and roadmaps.
- Support customer deployments and operational readiness.
