Vantor is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer, AI Infrastructure to build and operate the secure, scalable foundation for our AI-driven development organization.

You will bridge software engineering, cloud infrastructure, reliability, automation, and performance, across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments. Expect hands-on coding in Python and strong collaboration with product, security, and customer teams.

Qualifications

• Security-first engineering with least-privilege access and secrets management.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with testing and release verification.
• Automate deployment and monitoring of cloud-based infrastructure (Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP).
• Troubleshoot distributed systems for availability, latency, capacity, and performance.
• Produce production-ready Python code and APIs; work with data stores and tests.
• Strong collaboration with engineering, product, security, and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve platform reliability through SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs, monitoring, and incident reviews.
• Lead performance optimization for services, infrastructure, and Cloud Run workloads.
• Build and maintain deployment automation that is repeatable, observable, and secure.
• Develop internal Python tools to reduce toil and improve developer experience.
• Design and operate observability across logs, metrics, traces, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with developers to improve architecture, code quality, and scalability.
• Build and maintain on-premises environments at customer sites as needed.
• Support cloud, data center, and edge deployment models with secure practices.
• Participate in design reviews, incident response, and continuous improvement.
