Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Typically 7-10 years of work experience in systems engineering or related field.
• 8+ years firmware development/architecture experience.
• BIOS / UEFI / Embedded Systems.
• USB-C / Power Delivery knowledge.
• ODM collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of OS, apps, and system tools.
• Monitors and tests application performance; identifies bottlenecks and fixes.
• Optimizes systems for performance, scalability and resource use.
• Gathers system requirements from engineering groups and stakeholders.
• Leads multi-team software systems projects from design to integration.
• Manages relationships with internal and outsourced development partners.
• Reviews designs for compliance with standards and provides actionable feedback.
• Provides domain-specific leadership and mentoring to staff.
• Drives new technologies and integration in software systems projects.
