SCAN is seeking a Senior Manager, Platform Engineering to lead the hybrid infrastructure and platform engineering organization spanning on-premises data centers, Azure/AWS cloud, DevOps, SRE, automation, and observability.

This role combines people leadership, technical leadership, and Technical Program Management (TPM) while driving infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, platform reliability, automation, and complex cross-functional technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 12-18+ years of progressive technology experience across infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, SRE or platform engineering.
• 5+ years in engineering leadership or management.
• Preferred certifications in Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, VMware, Terraform or ITIL.
• Strong Technical Program Management experience with roadmap development and cross-functional delivery.
• Hands-on foundation in data center operations, VMware, SAN/storage, networking, and hardware lifecycle.
• Deep Azure expertise: App Services, Function Apps, Azure SQL, Storage, Entra ID, Monitor, governance.
• Solid DevOps/SRE understanding: reliability, incident management, SLIs/SLOs, automation.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes/AKS/EKS, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms.
• Observability skills with Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch or similar.
• Experience applying AI/ML to operations, including anomaly detection and predictive scaling.
• Knowledge of DR/BCP, high availability, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery testing.
• Strong security and compliance awareness (NIST, CIS, SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
• Excellent people management, coaching, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps and SRE teams.
• Drive modernization across data centers, servers, storage, virtualization and cloud migrations.
• Establish and mature DevOps, SRE, IaC, CI/CD, automation, and observability practices.
• Lead AIOps adoption to improve reliability with ML-driven anomaly detection.
• Own platform availability, reliability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Drive DR/BCP strategy, backup, recovery, and resiliency testing.
• Oversee roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, resources and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Networking, Security, Architecture, Vendors and stakeholders.
• Provide clear leadership updates on program status and strategic priorities.
