Job summary

Forma is seeking a Senior Manager for the Platform team to lead backend services powering our benefits platform. You will own reliability, scalability, and performance across core systems and drive end-to-end ownership from architecture to deployment.

You will shape how the team builds, including AI-assisted development, and collaborate with Product, Security, and other engineering teams to scale safely and effectively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years direct people management of software engineers.
• Experience leading a platform, infrastructure, or backend systems team.
• 10+ years building backend software with distributed systems, APIs, and service-oriented architecture.
