Job summary

PDI Technologies is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering to lead and evolve our platform and engineering team. You will be deeply involved in architecture, design reviews, and code, shaping the roadmap and driving adoption across multiple product teams.

This hands-on leadership role requires setting a clear technical direction, delivering analytics and AI capabilities, and raising the bar for reliable, automated releases while managing cost and security.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production software, including 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• Hands-on and able to read the code, run the system, debug a production issue, and lead a design review with authority.
• Strong distributed systems and platform architecture background, including API design, service-to-service authentication, and multi-tenant data isolation.
• Deep working knowledge of at least two of: analytics/BI platforms, LLM application engineering, workflow/orchestration, modern web app platforms, and production cloud delivery.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, and GitOps for CD.

Responsibilities

• Set and own the platform's technical direction with a sequenced plan to the target state.
• Treat the platform as a product with adoption paths and defined boundaries.
• Deliver analytics and AI capabilities that products can ship on at scale.
• Raise the engineering bar with automated, safe releases and code/design reviews.
• Run the platform with SLAs, security posture, and cost awareness.
• Collaborate with product engineering, architecture, data engineering, SRE, and security teams.
• Build and mentor the platform engineering team.
