Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the RippleX Platform Engineering team in San Francisco to ensure reliable, scalable XRPL infrastructure and automated tooling. You will design platform components, automate pipelines, and mentor engineers across teams.

Requires 4+ years in cloud-native infra, strong Go/Python/Java skills, Kubernetes experience, and IaC tooling. Join a team focused on velocity, security, and cost-efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in cloud-native infrastructure.
• Experience operating at scale (AWS/GCP preferred).
• Strong coding in Go, Python, or Java with Linux systems knowledge.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent) and container runtimes (Docker/OCI).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform/Helm/Ansible).
• Familiarity with Prometheus/Grafana or similar observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure for production XRPL services.
• Build automation for infrastructure lifecycle, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines.
• Develop systems for observability, secrets, disaster recovery, and regional failover.
• Improve reliability via instrumentation, alerts, and incident response with security teams.
• Contribute to internal tooling and self-service platforms to boost developer efficiency.
• Evaluate new tools to improve scalability and reduce manual work.
